1. Although i knew much about JFK prior to the field trip, I did learn some nice facts. For instance, I didn't even know he was married! I also did not know that he had so many siblings, one being mentally disabled. Lastly, among other things, I learned that JFK loved history.
2. The elements of the trip most interesting was definitely the exhibits of JFK's life. These included the space program, his famous coconut, a hall of his assassination, and an immense window room with a single powerful quote from JFK on a stand in the middle, although the quote escapes me at the moment.
3. I thought the field trip went very smoothly, there was a good amount of people there, the exhibits were interesting, the memorial itself had food and a fight shop. All in all, it was a nice getaway day while learning about one of the greatest presidents of all time. I felt like a little kid at an aquarium looking at all of the exhibits.
4. JFK was not in term for as long as other presidents, but before his death he wrote down many of his great idea. Johnson, his successor, took these ideas and made them into reality. This leads me to believe that in any sort of presidential competition JFK and Johnson should be right next to each other with JFK on top. I believe that the brains should get more credit then the brawn. Since Johnson carried out JFK's bills and such, i believe that JFK should get most of the credit for they are his ideas. Since these bills were so important I believe that JFK is, in fact, a great president.
