Should true Americans give up their personal freedoms during a time of war? Well the answer is in the question. A true American is someone who believes in freedom for everyone all of the time no matter what. If someone who thinks freedom is one of the most important things in life, then they would be hypocritical if they would give it up. During a time of war, what most soldiers are trying to protect IS freedom, so why should they fight for something that is no longer being practiced in their own country?
